Frederick J Haycock was born in Warwickshire in 1948 where he still lives with his wife and two children. He studied at both the Nuneaton School of Art and Coventry College of Art and Design. After college he worked in Leicester for ten years as an illustrator whilst painting during his spare time.
Due to the increasing demand for his work, he began painting professionally in 1982. At first his paintings were exhibited locally and this led to many private commisions being gained, resulting in several originals now in collections in Europe, USA and Japan.
