Rob Ritchie

Rob Ritchie was born in London in 1965. Although having an interest in art from a young age, painting remained a spare time activity until 1993 when he decided to make it his full time career, working from a converted attic. His career started with a solo exhibition in Richmond, London.

Rob’s work has become much admired and purchases have taken his work to over 45 countries worldwide, and is represented in Saudi Arabia, Japan, The Seychelles, Bermuda, Paris, Beverly Hills, New York etc.

Rob has received no formal training and is completely self-taught. Being influenced by the Old Masters, his work possesses a timeless appeal, combining harmony of colour, shadow and composition.

In 1997 Rob was elected to become an Associate of the British Society of Painters at their annual Spring Exhibition, and subsequently at the Autumn Exhibition he was invited to become a full Member of the Society.

Rob and his family relocated from London to Herefordshire in 2003, where Rob now works from his Studio.
